this little necklace suits me right now. i love using various layers, surfaces and materials in making jewelry. that richness appeals to me. i like to think about how each component reinforces the other. jewelry, necklaces specifically, when successful designs, seem to be a reflection of the individual. they can capture a moment, a feeling, a state of being that a person is in. i like that.
